Vascular plant collections
Academic visitors and post graduate students may visit the TAU Herbarium upon request. You must apply by e-mail (tau[at]bio.auth.gr) at least one month in advance of your visit; the following information is needed:
- Date and duration of the visit
- Name and address of your academic institution
- Taxonomic group you wish to study
- In case of postgraduate students, an e-mail with the above information must be sent by their supervisor

(B) MicroAlgae and Cyanobacteria Culture Collection (TAU-MAC)
The TAU-MAC collection is located at the 9th floor of the School of Biology and it is comprised by >150 strains of microalgae and cyanobacteria isolated from different habitats. TAU-MAC is included in the Global Catalogue of Microorganisms database and the European Culture Collections' Organisation (ECCO).
The TAU-MAC Collection offers strains for research purposes only. Please fill the documents below.
